Story Ideas

Please use this form to give us ideas for stories that we can use in the Baylor Line magazine or in our Line Notes blog, or for Alumni News in our twice-monthly Between the Lines e-mail newsletter and Down the Years in the Baylor Line.  If you’re going to send a photo, please try to send it with the highest resolution possible to [email protected]  One way to keep it high-res with your mobile device is to attach it as large as possible.  Thanks!

  • Please let us know if a Baylor alum or student has recently passed away either through this form or directly through [email protected] E-mail might be more efficient if you want to include an attachment (e.g., an obituary) or a photo of the deceased. You can also tell us the publication where the obituary appeared and we'll go find it. Our condolences for your loss if the deceased was a family member or close friend.
  • Promotions, New Jobs, Accomplishments, Etc.
  • Marriages, Births, etc.
  • Please let us know if you'd like us to share contact information for either Fond Farewells or Alumni Milestones with readers of either Between the Lines or the Baylor Line.
  • This might include award winners, participants on TV shows, authors with new books out, interesting research, fast-growing companies, or innovations, etc. Please be specific and provide contact information, if possible.
  • Please be specific and provide contact information. We're looking for volunteers, military personnel, firefighters, emergency personnel, and law enforcement contributions, in particular.
  • Are there any topics you'd like us to cover? We're looking for story ideas that will generate reader discussion or debate, or that will inform readers about interesting university departments or programs. Please let us know if you might be able to provide insight into the topic and let us know how we can contact you.

    Thanks so much for your story about Mona Rogers in Between the Lines. So sad to hear of her passing. Besides the information in your article and in her obituary, she was the first president of the service sorority Chi’s. She was warm, positive, effective, and generous. I enjoyed her company.

    Your last “Line” was very interesting (Fall, 2016) . I had no idea tuition costs so much at Baylor. That really needs looked at with new regents. ( When I graduated, I was paying $20 an hour!) After working with the students at the local college, I see the need for hourly payment. Some students just cannot handle a full load each semester for various reasons.
