Baylor announced April 18 that Linda A. Livingstone, the dean at the George Washington University School of Business, would become the university’s 15th president.  Livingstone, who previously served as both a Baylor professor and associate dean of graduate programs at the Hankamer School of Business, will be the first female president in Baylor’s 172-year history and replaces interim President David Garland, who has served in the role since June 1, 2016 and oversaw the early stages of the university’s efforts …

Just a reminder that nominations for officers and directors of the Baylor Line Foundation (BLF) will close on Feb. 28. The membership of Baylor Line Foundation will hold its annual meeting in Waco on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at a time and location to be determined. Nearly 50% of the nearly 1,500 members of the Baylor family who responded to a Baylor Line Foundation (BLF) survey conducted in early November said they are less likely to donate to the university in light of recent events. More than 90% of the respondents also called for greater transparency from Baylor leaders on a variety of topics.
