The Baylor Line Foundation (BLF) has hired Allen Holt ’80 as its new executive vice president. Holt, who served the Baylor Alumni Association as its director of development from 2008 to 2013, will start Nov. 1, 2016.  He returns to the BLF after nearly three years as director of development for the George W. The deadline for nominating candidates for the Baylor Line Foundation’s annual Hall of Fame alumni awards dinner is fast approaching. UPDATE ON GAME TIME: The Baylor Line Foundation’s annual Homecoming Tailgate will be held on October 15, 2016, at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame (TSHOF) prior to the game against the University of Kansas.  Kickoff time has been set for 2:30, so the tailgate will begin at 11 a.m. Unlike last year, the TSHOF will not be offering VIP parking or a shuttle, but we will continue to offer a dry place to see old friends and meet new ones …

It’s been just two weeks since Baylor Junior Kelsey Landrum ’18 spent June 21 — the longest day of the year — running in the ASICS Beat The Sun Challenge around the tallest point in the Alps. In children’s hospitals all over America, volunteers seek ways to brighten the lives of critically ill children. Kenneth (’04) and Amy (’06) Tice recently brought 2,700 teddy bears to Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth as part of their annual donation efforts, which is in memory of their first son, who passed away in 2011 at just five days old after his premature birth.
